Every Day the Villain Continues to Fail
[Quick Transmigration]
When Gu Rongming’s car arrived at the Gu family’s main residence, he encountered someone unexpected.
At that moment, he was uncharacteristically restless, watching the seconds tick by on his watch, his usually indifferent face now tense, lips pressed into a thin line as sharp as a blade.
Qi Ren had nearly floored the accelerator, and the silver-gray Ferrari, known for its elegance, screeched down the driveway, cutting through the quiet mountains like a flash of silver lightning.
As the driver sped toward the main house, a sudden, arrogant roar of an off-road vehicle erupted nearby, like a raging beast hurtling toward them. In the blink of an eye, the vehicle charged fiercely at Gu Rongming’s car!
Qi Ren reacted instantly. Seeing the Hummer coming at them, he slammed on the brakes at the last possible moment.
The Hummer’s tires, gripping the road with fierce intensity, sparked against the pavement, its furious roar sending birds scattering from the forest. The distance between the two cars’ hoods was barely an inch.
“Lucky you.”
A man carelessly draped in a suit jacket leaned against the car window, a half-burned cigarette dangling from his lips. The thin smoke curled around his striking, handsome features. His unbuttoned collar hung loose, and a black tie dangled lazily around his neck.
Gu Jin, someone who usually maintained a meticulously groomed appearance almost flamboyant, now appeared entirely different. His slightly long black hair was casually swept back, exuding a rebellious and unruly aura.
“I’ll give you one chance. Tell me where you’ve hidden Ruan Yao, and I might consider letting you die with a bit of dignity.” Gu Jin’s smile didn’t reach his eyes as he looked at Gu Rongming, who sat calmly inside the car.
Unlike Gu Jin, who seemed eager to carve 'I’m the best' on his forehead, Gu Rongming was the picture of restraint.
His silk traditional attire was perfectly buttoned, his posture flawless whether sitting or speaking, impeccable in every way.
Gu Rongming showed a flicker of surprise when he saw Gu Jin. “You managed to get out?”
Then, with a sneer, he continued “I suppose you would have learned a thing or two after all these years.”
Gu Jin flicked his cigarette, a cloud of ash falling as he narrowed his eyes dangerously. “I’m nowhere near as skilled in dirty tricks as you, Uncle”
Gu Rongming’s knuckles turned white. “I don’t have time for this. Get lost.”
As he spoke, Qi Ren, who understood Gu Rongming’s intentions well, restarted the car.
But the next second, the Hummer let out a roar even more menacing than the Ferrari’s!
“I’d advise you not to test my patience” Gu Jin said coolly, one hand on the wheel while the other calmly extinguished his cigarette.
“Now, tell me, where is Ruan Yao?”

The hidden room was filled with a strange, alluring fragrance.
Ruan Yao felt like he’d overplayed his hand.
Things weren’t looking good. He started to calculate how long it would take for Gu Rongming to reach the Gu residence and find him.
“Rest assured Host. According to my calculations, Gu Rongming and Gu Jin will both arrive at the Gu residence in fifteen minutes”
Fifteen minutes. By the time they found Gu Rongzhang’s room and entered this secret chamber, Ruan Yao feared he’d already be at Song Yu’s mercy.
Wait, wasn’t Gu Jin supposed to be locked up?
Ruan Yao wondered about this for a moment, but soon, he had no time to dwell on it.
Song Yu seemed provoked by Ruan Yao’s frivolous, seductive demeanor, driven to an uncontrollable frenzy.
Without hesitation, he pushed Ruan Yao onto the platform of withered roses.
The decayed blooms still carried an air of decadent luxury, and as Ruan Yao’s pale skin pressed against the flowers, the rich, dark crimson juices stained his rounded elbows, leaving them flushed with a provocative hue.
The crystal coffin rattled, chains clinking as they slid like cold serpents over its surface. Through the thin fabric of his clothes, faint bruises began to form on Ruan Yao’s tender, snow-white back.
His breathing was shallow and uneven, limbs desperately pushing against the man closing in on him.
But he was too thin, and Song Yu easily captured his pale wrists, pinning them above Ruan Yao’s head against the cold, hard surface of the coffin lid.
“Ugh!” Ruan Yao groaned in pain, his face reflected against the shimmering crystal, his complexion as flawless as snow.
In the struggle, his shoes slipped off, and his feet, clad in white ankle socks, pressed hard against the man’s thigh, toes curling slightly.
“Song Yu!” Ruan Yao gasped, his lips, as delicate as flower petals, glistening a tempting shade of cherry red under the dim light, revealing a glimpse of pearly white teeth.
“At least not here!” He braced his foot against Song Yu’s thigh, trying to keep him at bay. But the man only needed to bend slightly to brush his nose against Ruan Yao’s.
All his struggling seemed more like a coquettish dance, a pretense of resistance. Ruan Yao kicked his legs wildly.
Heat radiated through the fabric, making Ruan Yao’s body stiffen.
The man’s smile was disturbingly sinister.
My feet aren’t clean anymore, Ruan Yao thought in despair.
“Sometimes I think about putting you inside here” The man tapped the silent coffin, and a clear, crisp hum resonated from the crystal.
“So only I can be with you, only I can see you”
“No one else can have you. Being with me is enough.”
“You could sleep here forever. I’ll use the finest materials to preserve your beauty for eternity.”
The man’s whispered madness made the fine hairs on the back of Ruan Yao’s neck stand up. His long, dark lashes, damp with unshed tears, fluttered slightly.
Song Yu’s state of mind wasn’t right. He was a killer, someone who held life and death in his hands. Ruan Yao had no doubt he might actually follow through with his twisted fantasy.
The system chimed in just in time “Song Yu’s mental state has dropped below normal. It seems… he’s been affected, perhaps by a trace of supernatural influence. It won’t harm you, Host, but it can disturb ordinary humans.”
“Strange, this world shouldn’t have anything beyond the realm of modern science” the system added, puzzled.
Whatever had contaminated Song Yu’s mind, Ruan Yao didn’t have time to figure it out.
The man's delirious mutterings, like the ramblings of a mind pushed to the brink of madness, made the fine hairs on the back of Ruan Yao’s neck stand on end.
The boy's long, thick black eyelashes clung together, glistening with an almost-fallen drop of shimmering moisture.
Something was wrong with Song Yu’s mental state. He was a murderer with lives in his hands, and Ruan Yao had no doubt that if the man acted on a whim, he would end up stuffed inside that very coffin.
The system promptly reported, "Song Yu's mental value has dropped below the normal threshold. It seems… he’s been bewitched.
The detector has picked up faint traces of supernatural energy. It won't harm you, Host, but ordinary humans may be unconsciously contaminated by it."
"Strange… This world shouldn’t have forces beyond the scope of modern science." The system’s tone carried a hint of confusion.
There was no time for Ruan Yao to figure out what had corrupted Song Yu’s mind.
"Song Yu, what you love is nothing more than this face of mine." Ruan Yao interrupted the man’s feverish murmurs, his breath coming in small, strained gasps.
His sweat-dampened black hair clung to his cheek, making his complexion appear even paler. "As far as I know, there’s no technology yet that can preserve a corpse indefinitely. Do you really want to watch me rot away?"
His wide, innocent eyes held a dazed expression. His long lashes trembled, scattering glistening droplets of moisture. Yet the words he spoke were like honey-coated poison—sweet, yet barbed with thorns.
For a moment, Song Yu’s pupils dilated.
"Do you want to watch me rot away?"
To watch that snow-white face grow marred with hideous black decay, to see those delicate limbs expose their fragile bones to witness a rose wither, an inevitable descent into ruin.
The destruction of something beautiful was the most breathtaking sight of all. A sinner wrapped in beauty, consumed in flames, dazzling to the point of blinding, a soul willing to fall into the abyss for a single moment of brilliant bloom.
Ruan Yao met the man’s gaze. His light amber irises were veiled in a thin layer of crystalline mist, reminding one of a soft, innocent fawn, so harmless that one could only place him in their palm and cherish him.
The man lowered his head and pressed a kiss to the tip of Ruan Yao’s nose.
Ruan Yao wasn’t sure if it was just his imagination, but he thought he caught the faint scent of blood lingering on the man.
"Don’t worry, I won’t hurt you. I will make you my everything...if only you choose me"
The man released his grip, and Ruan Yao’s arms dropped to his sides. His wrists bore the deep red imprint of fingers, so tight that he suspected the man had nearly snapped his bones.
A blade appeared in the man’s hand, its steel edge gleaming, its wooden hilt marked with old, oxidized bloodstains.
Ruan Yao’s breath caught.
There was no need to guess, the murder weapon that had killed Gu Rongzhang lay before him.
"Yaoyao, I don’t want any other man in your heart. So tell them you love only me."
The blade was pressed against his slender, snow-white neck.
"System, can I still use the pain-blocking device I redeemed last time?" Ruan Yao asked silently.
The system responded with eagerness, "Yes, you can~"
Ruan Yao took a deep breath. He decided that if he had to, he would reveal his identity and immediately escape this chaotic world.
"When will Gu Rongming and the others arrive?"
"In approximately five minutes. The Gu family’s bodyguards have already started searching the villa."
Two delicate fingers lightly touched the blade’s edge. The razor-sharp steel instantly sliced through the tender skin of his fingertip, a drop of vivid crimson rolling down the blade before blooming like an eerie flower against his pale collarbone.
The man stared, entranced, at the striking drop of red.
"You’re going to stain my clothes" Ruan Yao murmured, lifting his eyes.
His gaze was like that of a fawn, clear and bright his irises reflecting the faint silhouette of the man before him.
He wore a plain white T-shirt, the loose neckline exposing his slender, milk-white collarbone, stirring a quiet hunger.
"My apologies" The man spoke words of regret, but his hands told a different story. His fingers hooked into the hem of Ruan Yao’s shirt, his calloused fingertips pressing against soft, smooth skin like magnets drawn to a precious stone.
Ruan Yao let out a stifled noise of discomfort, his back pressing against the crystal coffin. His jet-black hair spilled behind him, its ends just barely brushing against the flawless curve of his waist.
The thin fabric of his shirt was quickly lifted. The man, indulging in his twisted amusement, made Ruan Yao hold it between his own teeth.
Ruan Yao was surprisingly obedient. His lashes trembled as he lowered his gaze, his cherry-red lips parting slightly. A hint of a crimson tongue peeked through as he bit down on the fabric.
Saliva dampened the pristine cloth, revealing a faint flush of the flesh underneath. His lips, like delicate petals, held the wrinkled fabric, while uncontained moisture slid down the corner of his mouth, pooling in the hollow of his collarbone.
The man’s breath hitched for a moment.
After a long pause, he gripped Ruan Yao’s delicate chin and whispered dangerously, "You’re looking at me like that…."
Ruan Yao’s ears turned red as if stained with blood, and he cursed inwardly.
