Every Day the Villain Continues to Fail
[Quick Transmigration]

Ruan Yao changed into a slightly more convenient outfit as night fell.
He stood among a pile of very economical, sexy little skirts, his mouth twitching as he pinched his nose and rummaged through them for a while before finally pulling out the most modest-looking black skirt.
The neckline of the skirt opened just below the collarbone, and the hem just reached an inch above the ankle.
A faint, creamy white ankle bone disappeared beneath the swirling black fabric as he walked, creating a teasing sensation that made his skin itch with a subtle allure.
However, after fully putting it on, he realized something was a bit off.
After all, Ruan Yao was a male demon, holding the smooth silk fabric in one hand while the other clutched two thin ties. He looked utterly clueless.
If he didn’t tie these two strings, a large portion of his white back would be exposed.
There was a good chance he would be escorted out by the bodyguards for ruining the family’s reputation.
His soft, youthful cheeks flushed red in frustration, and beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.
In the end, Ruan Yao gave in, exclaiming, “System, help me!”
The system was surprisingly enthusiastic about this kind of thing. “I know, I know!”
Ruan Yao was surprised to find that the system seemed unusually skilled at dressing up and styling hair. His eyes narrowed with suspicion. “System, you’re acting strange.”
The system quickly retrieved various ways to wear the skirt, sending one similar to Ruan Yao’s face. The small red lights on its mechanical metallic shell blinked, giving off a suspicious vibe. “I’m not!”
Ruan Yao: “Really? I don’t believe it.”
While guiding Ruan Yao to tie a bow behind his neck, the system nervously hid a document titled 'How to Raise My Powdery Daughter' behind it.
After completing the last mission, the system and its host were granted nearly a month of vacation time.
After spending a few days mixing with other systems, it quickly fell into the trap of obsessively investing in a crazy daughter-raising game.
For the system, this world was basically a dream come true. After all, in this world, changing clothes didn’t require spending money!
But in order to avoid being kicked out by the host, the system decided to stay silent.
“Madam…” The secretary of Gu Rongming came to knock on the door to call Ruan Yao for dinner, but since Ruan Yao hadn’t locked the door, it opened with just a light knock.
Ruan Yao was frantically trying to tie his hair up; he was really bad at these delicate tasks. Some strands of black hair that weren’t tied properly fell along his smooth neck.
As soon as the secretary said 'Madam' the young man, with his delicate features, stood frozen, his face turning bright red.
“Gu Madam must have just changed clothes". She wore a complicated lace-trimmed black gown, the silk fabric tightly wrapping around her graceful figure. Her chest was white as snow, and a slightly crooked bow was tied at the back of her neck.
He hadn’t expected the door to be left ajar. Her amber-colored eyes, looking over, held a soft, surprised expression.
Qi Ren had seen a lot of things after working with Gu Rongming, but when faced with this scene, his heart raced like a young man’s for the first time.
It was strange, didn’t the previous Madam seem… not as mesmerizing as this?
The young man quickly adjusted his mood, obediently avoiding eye contact and lowering his gaze. "Second Master asked me to invite Madam to dinner"
Ruan Yao instinctively thanked him politely. "I understand, thank you"
Qi Ren respectfully took his leave and, after calmly and quietly closing Ruan Yao's door, only then did he feel a tingling and hot sensation in his ears.
The Gu family truly deserved their position as the number one wealthy family in Yun City. Ruan Yao, holding the map given by the system, almost got lost among the various hallways and gardens.
When he reached the dining hall of the Gu family, his feet were sore. He had previously sprained his ankle, and each step felt like walking on a sharp blade.
Passersby, seeing Ruan Yao struggling, did not offer any help.
After all, Ruan Yao had caused a lot of trouble in the Gu family, and he had ruined everyone's goodwill. There were private speculations that, after Gu Rongzhang’s death, whether it was Gu Rongming or Gu Jin taking over as the head of the family, both men detested Ruan Yao. This 'bad woman' was soon to be kicked out of the house.
Thus, everyone treated him like an insignificant presence (insignificant person) , ignoring him and acting as if he were transparent.
Ruan Yao was used to taking care of himself, so he didn’t even notice their deliberate disregard. He only felt that, as expected from a wealthy family, everyone seemed to be very busy.
As he looked at himself, he felt even more like a salted fish. (feeling powerless)
Since it was the funeral of Gu Rongzhang, the Gu family members were all present, and the long table was filled with people.
As soon as Ruan Yao entered, all their eyes turned to him.
Ruan Yao’s face turned red.
"Why are you so late?" Gu Rongming, sitting at the rightmost seat of the long table, closed his eyes and spoke in a calm tone.
Ruan Yao quickly lowered his gaze, holding back the pain from his ankle and walking hurriedly to his seat.
Gu Jin sat opposite him, idly tapping the edge of his porcelain bowl, making a small noise that, to Ruan Yao, felt especially harsh.
"I wonder what you were doing in your room?" Gu Jin sneered as soon as he saw him. He deliberately provoked him. He looked Ruan Yao up and down, his lips curling into a mischievous grin. "Why are you dressed like this? Now you’re afraid of being seen?"
Ruan Yao pressed his moist red lips together, his face showing an unreadable expression as he ignored Gu Jin’s provocation.
He was angry because of Gu Rongming’s actions.
He knew about Ruan Yao’s sprained ankle and still chose to embarrass him in front of everyone. It was deliberate.
The system calmly advised him: "Because he doesn’t like you."
"That’s one way to look at it" Ruan Yao sulked.
"He’s really petty" He angrily poked at the rice in his bowl.
Suddenly, a foot quietly lifted Ruan Yao’s skirt.
Ruan Yao froze for a moment with the chopsticks in his hand, and Gu Rongming, sitting beside him, noticed his displeased expression. He gently asked, "What’s wrong?"
The mischievous foot was still in leather shoes, its tip lifting the layers of Ruan Yao’s skirt, moving slowly and seductively up his calf.
Everyone around seemed to be focused on eating their meals.
As a long-established family, the Gu family adhered to the tradition of eating in silence, with only the occasional clink of utensils breaking the stillness.
Ruan Yao's suspicious gaze finally fixed on Gu Jin, sitting beside him.
The man, with his usual harsh demeanor, seemed to suddenly take a great interest in the vegetables on his plate.
Ruan Yao’s hand, holding the chopsticks, trembled slightly.
It wasn’t out of fear but because that annoying foot was getting closer and closer to his thigh.
If it went up a bit more, it would brush against his thigh.
Ruan Yao was getting really irritated.
He couldn’t eat anymore.
He didn’t realize that, when he was angry, he would unconsciously bite his upper lip, pressing his plump, red lips into a line, making his white, soft cheeks puff up slightly, giving him an even more innocent look.
Ruan Yao decided to put down his chopsticks and raised his eyes, looking directly at Gu Jin with those pure, seductive eyes. Upon meeting that gaze, Gu Jin felt something heat up inside him.
Ruan Yao smiled playfully, so pure-looking. His leg suddenly shifted under the tablecloth, pushing the foot away with deliberate slowness.
Then, without mercy, he stepped heavily on the expensive leather shoe.
Gu Jin’s face changed.
Ruan Yao, feeling pleased, tilted his mouth into a smirk, but when his eyes met Gu Jin’s increasingly cold gaze, he quickly lowered his head and pretended to be very serious, focusing on fighting with the vegetables in his bowl as if he had nothing to do with the foot incident.
Gu Jin studied Ruan Yao across from him and thought to himself that the man had changed a lot over the past two years.
Had he been playing the woman’s role for too long? He bitterly thought, suddenly feeling a bit of pity and even finding him somewhat cute.
At first, he had been attracted to Ruan Yao’s unexpectedly beautiful face and had been using him. After Ruan Yao discarded him as soon as he was used, Gu Jin’s feelings turned to revenge.
He had originally wanted to see him embarrass himself in front of everyone, but why did he feel a little stirred instead?
Gu Jin attributed this to Ruan Yao's ability to confuse people's hearts.
In his mind, he had already decided that this fox spirit was quite a sight.
Ruan Yao, completely unaware of the wicked thoughts in this dog's head, happily said to the system, “These dishes are really delicious! If only our cafeteria’s kitchen had this level of skill.”
The system, which couldn’t taste food, couldn’t understand the joy of delicious meals: “But you seem to enjoy the food in the cafeteria too.”
Ruan Yao, with a serious face, replied, “The cafeteria at the Time-Space Administration Bureau is already the best in the entire galaxy. You can ask the interstellar traffic control bureau next door to the deer division. They only get rice with nutritional fluid every day.”

According to the rules, Ruan Yao should be keeping vigil over Gu Rongzhang at the wake all night.
At least Gu Rongming still had a bit of humanity, and had prepared a particularly thick cushion so that Ruan Yao wouldn’t end up injuring his knees.
Ruan Yao held three incense sticks, eyes half-closed in distraction.
Two bodyguards, as still as mountains, stood by the door. The door was ajar, and the cool night wind swirled in through the wide gap, gently brushing against Ruan Yao’s ear.
Ruan Yao shivered.
Though he was a supernatural being himself, he still felt uneasy about ghosts and spirits, which were beyond his comprehension.
Human horror movies were so terrifying for demons.
Ruan Yao kept his eyes closed, not daring to look at the photo of the deceased placed before him.
A sudden cold breeze hit, lifting Ruan Yao’s hair.
A hand, so cold it seemed devoid of any warmth, suddenly brushed across Ruan Yao’s slender back.
Ruan Yao trembled in panic, his eyes involuntarily flashing with a fleeting red, his naturally pale skin glowing softly under the dim light as the black gown he wore seemed to shimmer.
That terrifying hand seemed to caress him like a kitten, slowly moving from the back of his neck down to his trembling tailbone.
Ruan Yao was nearly scared to tears—was this Gu Rongzhang’s ghost returning?
The hand was so cold that even through the thin fabric of his clothing, the chill almost made Ruan Yao's teeth chatter.
“Who are you?” he asked, his voice trembling with fear, soft and wet, lacking any authority or intimidation.
The hand deliberately teased him, fingers lightly tugging at the butterfly knot at the back of Ruan Yao’s neck.
Where were the bodyguards? Ruan Yao wanted to turn around to see where the two bodyguards had gone, but he couldn’t bring himself to open his eyes. His long eyelashes were soaked with his own tears, like black phoenix tail feathers drooping on his cheeks.
His face was drenched with tears, glistening with a shiny layer of moisture.
His entire face was as white as frost and snow, yet his lips held a soft, rosy color, like a trembling berry, ready to burst with sweetness if gently bitten.
The fingers undid the ribbon of his gown.
The unsettling feeling he had earlier was finally explained at this moment.
The seemingly conservative black gown was actually just a beautifully disguised gift box, waiting for the man who needed to be pleased to unwrap the bow and reveal the true gift.
Gu Jin pressed his cold, pale back, a smile playing at the corners of his mouth, his voice hoarse to the point of being unnatural: “Thank you for the gift, Ruan Yao. I really like it.”
